Key Accountabilities

- Reports to the Production Director/Senior Manager/Assistant Manager.
- Develop, implement, and conduct training programs for new hires and existing employees on production processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Provide hands-on training on production techniques, quality standards, and troubleshooting common manufacturing issues.
- Drive and manage Production Capability and Skill Matrix framework for all new and existing Production employees.
- Review, design, develop and sustain Operative Training’s Certification and Re-certification process for Production employees.
- Assess employees' skills, conduct Training Needs Analysis and recommend additional training to address gaps as needed.
- Responsible for ensuring effective implementation of all activities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as comply with internal and external standards, including ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and quality assurance teams to maintain high production efficiency and quality control.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain training records for all Operative Training’s On-The-Job training and Refresher training.
- Develop instructional materials, guides, and job aids to support training programs.
- Provide reports and feedback to management on training effectiveness and employee performance
- Work closely with production managers, People Partner, and safety teams to align training programs with organizational goals.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for employees, answering questions and providing support as needed.
- Assist in onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Actively participates in the analysis and troubleshooting of daily production activities related to quality and waste reduction.
- Perform ad-hoc or other duties as assigned by superior.
- For MHCM Kulim and Kulim Hi-Tech sites specifically, the following accountabilities apply:
- Lead the former management and maintenance activities in the lines. Specifically for online and offline cleaning.
- Lead change product improvement activities using SMED tools for the improvement.
- Coordinate with former stakeholders for monthly servicing and replacements to keept withing budget.
- Lead the kanban for former stocks for both plants.
