Data Privacy Intern/Student Assistant

Purpose of Position

• The position will support the Data, Privacy, and AI Compliance team by taking on simple local legal and compliance work from time to time.
• The position will validate AI translations of legal documents or translate legal documents, such as Data Processing Agreements, Privacy Notices, Consents, etc., from English to Chinese.
• The position will support the Data, Privacy, and AI Compliance team with local data privacy requirements, such as conduct Data Processing Impact Assessments (DPIAs), maintain the local Record of Processing Activities (the RoPA), and conduct local legal assessments.

Key Accountabilities

The position will:

• be responsible for various translation tasks;

• conduct the DPIAs;
• monitor amendments and updates in local law;  
• conduct compliance checks of documents and processes in relation to local laws;  
• transform the local RoPA from excel into the digital system as well as maintaining the RoPA by adding or adjusting the processing activities;
• support the Data, Privacy, and AI Compliance team in assessments of local law and conduct simple legal research.
• support on annual HCP service agreement renewal

Capabilities; Qualifications and Experience

• The position shall be a law student that has completed at least one (1) year.
• The position must be able to communicate in English (orally and in writing) and must be able to translate legal documents from English to Chinese.
• The position shall have technical skills within Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint.
• The position shall have a positive attitude and carry out assignments in a professional and timely manner
