Role: Senior Director Strategic Accounts

In this role, you are responsible for leading a team of experienced Strategic Accounts Directors to achieve company objectives for assigned top accounts. You’ll oversee the strategy in top segmented accounts, development of business plans, alignment of strategic account plans with customer goals as well as company’s strategies and initiatives.
You will lead your team to implement clinical and health economic solutions that are aligned with Wound Care (WC), Surgical (SU) and Post-Acute (PAC) business units. Develop and present contracting proposals to strategic pricing committees, leadership meetings and other venues. Review and evaluate sales, customer annual reports, Definitive Healthcare Data, along with Medicare Hospital Acquired Conditions, Readmission and other quality measurement data to initiate actions necessary to achieve sales objectives. |
You’ll make significant contributions in the following areas:
- Responsible for hiring, developing, coaching through leadership of a team of experienced Strategic Accounts Directors
- Responsible for growing sales to meet company objectives in largest revenue accounts
- Responsible for local market and continuum of care strategy (i.e. pricing, reimbursement /payor mix, regional distribution, retail, and marketplace stakeholders)
- Develops contracting strategy for largest strategic accounts in U.S.
- Develops and maintains personal, high-level strategic customer relationships within teams and accounts
- Ensures team personnel have appropriate training and support to accomplish their objectives
- Responsible for development and execution of business plans for each strategic account assigned to his / her team
- Develops and implements business plans consistent with overall marketing strategies and established promotion and expense budgets
- Manages budget for team
- Reviews and evaluates various data and information such as gross margins, competitive activity, account feedback, etc.
- Takes appropriate corrective actions, as needed, to ensure objectives are met
- Acts as a resource to U.S. Leadership Team
- Collaborates with internal department (i.e. marketing, sales, professional education, legal, contracting, finance, WC, SU, PAC) on respective account managemetn as well as special sales projects/promotions as requested.

What you’ll need.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- 3 - 5 years successful leadership experience managing a team; medical device area leadership experience preferred
- 3 - 5 years successful Strategic Account Management and or Health Economics experience preferred
- 10 - 12 years’ experience in business-to-business sales; experience in medical device is strongly preferred
- Marketing, sales training or other corporate support experience desirable
- Extensive knowledge of selling processes, business planning, and business development strategies
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with IDN “C” Suite customers, including education and awareness, collaborative contracting including risk sharing, standardization and utilization and delivering on short and long term goals
- Proven track record working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in gaining regulatory, finance, and legal as well as company specific approvals on customer tools and programs
