Temporary Production Technician, day shift

Mölnlycke is a medical device manufacturer in Wiscasset, ME seeking to add a Temporary Production Technician on day shift (6am-2pm) to support the manufacturing of our Turning & Positioning products used worldwide.

 

What we offer

  • $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 paid after 1 wk; $750 paid after 90 days)
  • Starting pay is $20/hr with potential to earn up to $26/hr

  • Reliable, full-time schedule! You’ll work 40 hours per week: Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm

 Your role

  • Safely and efficiently manufacture medical products from raw material to finished goods
  • Prepare and inspect materials and equipment and effectively monitor and operate automated production equipment
  • Follow good cleanliness, hygiene, and safety guidelines; properly clean equipment and production areas
  • Notify Lead or Supervisor with appropriate urgency when quality, equipment, or safety issues occur
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation, comply with local and global regulations and quality guidelines
  • Contribute to reducing waste and improving core processes
  • Perform in line with Mölnlycke core values and high-performance standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A pre-employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs, wear a respirator, and work in standing positions throughout workday
  • Reliable and dependable team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Proven success working in a team-based environment and meeting performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance
  • Quick learner, able to follow production processes and proper use of equipment and machinery
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Close vision and color vision
  • Excellent communication skills and reading comprehension
  • Experience with basic hand tools
  • Prior work in manufacturing or processing is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9000, ISO 13485 systems a plus, but not necessary
