The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer is responsible for the technical support and operation of complex, high-speed, electro/mechanical production equipment. The position must be able to manage complex and competing projects as well as implement LEAN manufacturing principles.
A key and integral part of this role is working knowledge of applicable regulations, machine shop experience, familiarity with servo controls, chemical dispensing systems, robotic controls, and the ability to transfer that knowledge to others. Prior experience as Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Machine or Equipment Engineer are key!

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience supporting IBM Maximo preferred. Experience providing technical support to a large Materials and Maintenance Management system may be substituted for the Maximo experience.
- 4-7 plus years of system and maintenance/equipment experience with specific proficiency demonstrated in parts CMMS Administration and inventory management preferred.
- Experience in a cGMP facilities department in an FDA-regulated industry is a plus.
- Safety – NEC, NFPA, LOTO, OSHA, UL, CE.
- Familiar with clean room (class 8) protocol a plus
- The functional demands of this position require working around or near equipment that may be hazardous to individuals with pacemaker equipment
Work/Life Balance:
- Day shift, Monday – Friday
- Weekend work only 2-3x annually
- Will require 5:30AM start when running trials
