Foam Production Technician, Day shift

$1,000 sign-on bonus and $18/hr starting pay!

We are currently seeking a full-time, day shift Production Technician to support the manufacturing of medical foam used in our healthcare products worldwide.

 

What we offer

  • $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 paid after two full weeks of work; $750 paid after 90 days of work; must be currently working for us at the time of payment)
  • Starting pay is $18/hr 
  • Day shift is 5:30am-5:30pm (rotating schedule: 3 days per wk/4 days per wk)
  • Overtime pay at 1.5x rate for hours worked over 40 each week

Your role

  • Operate machinery on a production line used to manufacture foam and package finished goods.
  • Perform quality control testing and inspection on foam products.
  • Record data in a computerized database.
  • Continual improvement of the workflow and production output of the foam line through constant monitoring and analysis of the manufacturing processes.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve the maximum quality and quantity of foam in the safest and most efficient manner.

 

Requirements

  • Must be available to interview and tour on-site in Wiscasset
  • A pre-employment physical, criminal history background check, and at least 2 professional references
  • Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule, including overtime, to ensure production goals are met
  • Ability to: lift and carry 50 pounds; walk and stand throughout the workday; pull, push, reach and grasp; and wear a respirator
  • Close vision and color vision
  • Proven success working in a team-based environment and meeting performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in production, manufacturing, or related environment preferred, but not required
