Boiler Operator - Per Diem

We are currently seeking per diem Boiler Operators to support the manufacturing of medical foam at our factory in Wiscasset, Maine.

• 24/6 or 24/7 hours of operation

Your role

• Start boiler according to standard operating procedure
• Notify operations when boiler reaches 120 PSI for FL2 dryer start-up
• Start FL1 dryer when FL2 dryer reaches temperature
• Secure boiler at end of production shift
• Check boiler operation status according to checklist and document gauge readings every 2 hours
• Visually check air compressors, RO purified water system, N2 gas system and report any anomalies to EIC (Engineer in Charge)
• Maintain a clean and orderly boiler room

Requirements

• Must be available to interview and tour on-site in Wiscasset
• A pre-employment physical, criminal history background check, and at least 2 professional references

• Current State of Maine High-Pressure Boiler Operators License or Maine State SSE (Station Steam Engineer) License
• Ability to work overnights, holidays, and weekends
• Flexibility to work when needed, with or without advanced notice
