2nd Shift Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse and Shipping Operator / Mesher Administrator is responsible for all shipping and receiving duties, maintaining, and organizing the inventory and warehouse space and handling all mesher administrative duties.



  • Receive incoming raw material shipments per company policy. Accurately review and complete all appropriate paperwork and documentation. Label and put raw materials away using FEFO organization.
  • Receive misc. shipments from UPS, Fedex, USPS, and deliver packages to recipient(s) and confirm accuracy.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and confirm shipment accuracy by coordinating with production, inventory control, and QA.
  • Inspect all hazardous waste storage areas and complete appropriate documentation as required. Assist with hazardous waste removal process as needed.
  • Participate in weekly support inventory checks to ensure common materials are kept in stock. Communicate any findings to Production Manager for ordering.
  • Coordinate removal of all waste material(s) to include recyclables and standard waste.
  • Ensure all shipments and received goods are processed using the appropriate Molnlycke Standard Work Instructions.
  • Participate in physical inventory as scheduled.
  • Assist with stocking and re-stocking of production areas with raw materials as needed promoting FEFO processes. Assist with putting away excess raw materials in warehouse.
  • Support mesher processing by handling all administrative tasks including all records and communications for each mesher.
  • Train as the back-up for the Mesher Technician and assist the Mesher Technician as requested. Help maintain the tools and spare parts inventories. Develop spare parts requirements through familiarization of equipment use and research with vendors to determine on-hand spare parts levels.
  • Recommend modifications to work instructions and /or procedures as necessary.
  • Recommend improvements in workplace safety, use of equipment to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and improvement in production methods as necessary.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Participate in implementing continuous improvement activities, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Responsible for performing daily equipment inspections and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Complete any additional tasks as required by supervision.
  • Supports the effort to implement best practices within job scope; expected to participate in activities designed to improve production, quality, and EHS.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.




  • Determine what packaging and pallets are acceptable for all products and destination; as well as, if transportation vehicle is suitable for shipment when it arrives.
  • Determine if equipment i.e., forklifts are in good working order and what actions to take if it is not.
  • Determine if paperwork has all required signatures.
  • Decide when recycling should occur to optimize efficiency.
  • Determine service intervals of equipment and maintain inventory of spare parts for critical equipment.
  • Determine mesher prioritization along with Mesher Technician.





  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills; ability to occasionally us hand and power tools.
  • Basic machining capability required (i.e., lathe, mill, saw, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software. Ability to navigate and enter pertinent data into SAP software for inventory, shipping, and receiving purposes.
  • Hands on, flexible attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in participating in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet job performance measure with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
  • Effective personal organizational skills.
  • Ability to train personnel to constantly improve the good-quality output of the production processes.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or other related fields preferred.




Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain certification for operating typical warehouse equipment (i.e., forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc.) within orientation period.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and identify issues with shipping such as labeling problems, container issues, or related compliance or safety issues.
