Process Engineer H/F

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to help improve outcomes for healthcare professionals and their patients.

 

The role:

Reporting directly to the Technology & Engineering Manager you will identify and lead the capital investment and continuous development projects for our Waremme site of 350 people. With a focus on lean manufacturing you will engage with cross functional teams and it will be your responsibility to drive efficiencies in line with Mölnlycke’s high performance behaviours.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the annual investment plan in line with Mölnlycke's local and global strategy
  • Identify, lead and deliver planned site improvement projects
  • Utilise statistical data and analysis to justify investment requests
  • Validate manufacturing processes as well as new product developments
  • Identify a pipeline of cost improvement project proposals and capital investment requests
  • Support and lead implementation of planned capital investment projects
  • Manage communication with all stakeholders including external contractors
  • Improve the capability of plant equipment and process flow to deliver improved productivity and yield year on year
  • Manage roll out of new processes from senior management to machine operators
  • Scoping, leading and facilitating manufacturing process changes for introduction of new products, new formats and line extensions
  • Identifying and implementing technology that will provide the company with a competitive advantage
  • Ensuring alignment of investment projects to Site Cost Improvement Plan

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent within an engineering field – Essential
  • Demonstrable post study hands on engineering experience – Essential
  • Clear understanding of a manufacturing environment and lean techniques– Essential
  • Analytical and process driven mindset - Essential
  • Demonstrable project and stakeholder management skills – Essential
  • Fluent spoken English - Essential
  • Previous exposure to Med Device or Pharma industry – Beneficial
