Territory Manager, Surgical Products

To support our growth, we are looking for a Territory Manager in Sydney, Australia. 

Reporting line: National Sales Manager

Business Unit: Surgical Products

Office Location: Belrose, NSW

Candidate Area: New South Wales

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Identify and develop business opportunities for the Mölnlycke brand within targeted accounts in order to maximise sales and contribution growth.
  • Develop the Mölnlycke brand profile with key decision-makers and build added value relationships to ensure company sales targets are met.
  • Maintain existing accounts while growing and diversifying into new accounts.
  • Be fully conversant with Mölnlycke’s goals, corporate strategy, and processes, and agile to respond to new objectives.
  • Respect, respond, and provide excellent customer service and partnership.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve agreed sales targets for specified products to ensure that overall company growth is achieved.
  • Promote surgical products to accounts, thereby building sales and relationships. Working in partnership to achieve the best outcome.
  • Identify key decision-makers in key accounts to ensure maximum sales are achieved in each account.
  • Identify current usage and support forecasting requirements in key accounts, using appropriate reporting systems.
  • Develop and maintain Territory Business Plans in order to identify potential volume and gains.
  • Analyse sales data and update Territory Business plan to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Become competent and capable with related computer systems for product selection and development of customised products
  • Seek market information on competitor activities and products to help shape accurate strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Have a full understanding of the State Contract / Pharmac framework. Identify opportunities for new tenders and changes to existing tenders so that maximum sales increase may be realised. Manage all tender activity in the territory in a proactive way so that we manage the process to the full advantage of Mölnlycke.

 

HIRING STANDARDS

Capabilities:

  • Customer communication to be timely, precise, and clear.
  • Customer education to be clear and confident.
  • Product evaluations within the Operating Theatre, organisation, and staff training.
  • Planning of territory to maximise time and efficiencies
  • Analysis of sales data and forecasting

Education:

  • University Degree (or equivalent) in Nursing, Life Science (or similar)

Experience

  • 3-5 years of operating theatre, sales, product launches & training / field support experience.
