Position:                           Territory Manager SU

Location:                           NZ – North of South Island (Down to Christchurch, bottom half of North Island)

Department:                    Sales    

Position Reports to:        New Zealand Sales Manager


The Surgical sales team are looking for a team player with a proven sales track record to join their team.


Candidates must work proactively to identify and develop business opportunities for the Molnlycke brand within targeted accounts in order to maximise sales and contribution growth.


Communication is key as you will be developing the Molnlycke brand profile with key decision makers and build added value relationships to ensure company sales targets are met.


Candidates must work well under pressure and manage their time well to maintain existing accounts while growing and diversifying into new accounts whilst working to Molnlycke goals, corporate strategy, and processes, and agile to responding to new objectives.


Key Accountabilities


  • Achieve agreed sales targets for specified products to ensure that overall company growth is achieved.
  • Promote surgical products to accounts, thereby building sales and relationships. Working in partnership to achieve the best outcome.
  • Identify current usage and support forecasting requirements in key accounts, using appropriate reporting systems.
  • Develop and maintain Territory Business Plans in order to identify potential volume and gains.
  • Seek market information on competitor activities and products to help shape accurate strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Have a full understanding of the State Contract framework.
  • Identify opportunities for new tenders and changes to existing tenders so that maximum sales increase may be realised.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Operating Theatre Experience preferred
  • Proven sales experience
