We’re expanding and seeking a dynamic leader to head our newly formed SAP Platform team as Solution Delivery Lead – SAP Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape a team responsible for maintaining the core infrastructure, architecture, and technical aspects of our SAP ERP environment.
In this role, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring platform stability while equipping our internal product teams with the tools they need to excel. You will also play a critical role in establishing effective ways of working to operate and manage our new SAP S/4 platform. Additionally, you’ll lead the SAP Platform team in delivering efficient solutions across SAP Basis, Integrations, and Roles and Authorizations, all aligned with our strategic business needs. As part of our Center of Excellence, you’ll oversee solution governance, streamline workflows, and champion the team’s mission and performance.

Key accountabilities for the role:
Team Leadership: Lead and coach the SAP Platform team, fostering collaboration to meet delivery commitments. This includes full line management responsibility.
Solution Delivery: Oversee the team’s performance in delivering SAP solutions efficiently, aligned with business goals, and within the allocated budget.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with users and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet expectations.
Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and execution of our global IT strategy, including digital innovation and transformation initiatives.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory, privacy, and security requirements in line with company policies.
Team Development: Mentor and develop team members’ skills, working with guild leaders to foster growth.
Process and Tool Definition: Define the processes, tools, and capabilities needed to enhance the team’s delivery capacity within an agile and DevOps framework.
Experience we see as a benefit for the role:
- Extensive experience in the SAP environment, particularly in SAP Basis, GRC, or BTP.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership experience, managing and coaching teams in an IT solution development context.
- Strong experience with agile development, DevOps practices, and the full Software Delivery Lifecycle.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ability to apply digital technologies to drive business impact.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
