The Role:


We are looking for a Regional Analytics Specialist to own, manage and continuously improve regional and local analytics solutions to enable users with appropriate information and business insights to improve, control and manage the business.



Key Accountabilities:


  • Support users through 1st line support with analytics requests and incidents. Escalate to global resources when applicable.
  • Train users regionally and locally, and where possible, train the trainer for local users.
  • Provide training material and user manuals for users when/if needed.
  • Follow Global IT policies, processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with global Analytics team, plan joint activities and support global team with regional and local tasks and initiatives, utilizing global development resources when applicable
  • Follow global analytics development guidelines and ensure quality control over regional/local self-service development
  • Support self-service development within the analytics area, though:
  • Managing a regional Developer Community, sharing news, ideas and thoughts
  • Build and maintain a regional data platform/library and catalogue for key market / consumer dynamics, based on the global analytics platform, following the global principles.
  • Control and develop internal/external information sources for business analysis.
  • Drive and manage regional and local project or change requests within the analytics area when needed.
  • Implement and oversee analytical approaches and methodologies.
  • Test changes or new features/ systems in the Analytics area.
  • Participate with knowledge and as tester during system upgrades
  • Together with Regional IT Director and Global Team Manager, work closely with business stakeholders and in particular with the APAC Commercial Excellence and Business Analytics function to establish and manage an analytics roadmap for the region, drive activities within that roadmap, communicate clearly with all stakeholders regarding timing, priorities, delays, etc.
  • If time is provided, support business functions and management with insight and recommendations for decision making and strategic planning and Identify market/consumer trends and generate insights that are relevant for the ongoing strategic planning cycle
  • Make sure that there is proper documentation in place for both Regional and Local IT




  • Fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin is an advantage
  • Organized and structured 
  • Self-starter, efficient and service minded 
  • Advanced analytical skills and financial understanding
  • Commercial Acumen: P&L, price modelling, IMS, Commercial Excellence
  • Experience of technical solutions like analytics, cubes, data warehouse and knowledge of tools like Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server (SSAS, SSIS and MDS)
  • Aptitude for data visualization
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with internal and external customers
  • Basic understanding of the ITIL process and experience of ServiceNow or similar ticket handling system



Qualifications & Experience:


  • Experience of working in and knowledge of an IT support process
  • Willingness to learn and drive and develop the analytics support area with the APAC region
  • Proactiveness and understanding of business criticality
  • Act with ”Customer at heart” attitude, always acknowledging the user’s issues
  • Degree or equivalent in business or a related subject.
  • Commercial / analytical experience in a Healthcare / Pharma industry
  • Experience of working in an international organization
  • Stakeholder management skills with internal and external customers
