We are recruiting for an experienced Product Specialist based in Singapore to join our Wound Care business. This role involves maximizing wound care sales growth and profitability within the assigned territory, managing the MHC wound care assortment, updating account plans according to Singapore Strategy and performing sales pricing in line with Singapore guidelines.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Achieve agreed sales targets by commercially managing existing customers and by the identification and development of new accounts so that we maintain and grow the business according to strategy.
  • Secure existing business and develop new opportunities by value added selling of the Wound Care offering to commercial decision makers.
  • Update and maintain the account plans according to the Singapore strategy. Ensure an efficient and effective way of working within the sales territory in order to maximise business opportunities.
  • Perform sales pricing in line with Singapore guidelines.
  • Monitor and participate in tenders within territory.
  • Provide input and the preparation of the documents regarding the assortment and price proposal.
  • Proactively forecast changes in product usage to ensure accurate order completeness.
  • Demonstrate effective use of all available sales tools and materials provided by MHC to ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Provide training through product presentation to end users to ensure proper use of wound care products as well as clinical updates and basic wound care knowledge to customers through clinical evidence.
  • Educate key stakeholders within accounts of the Molnlycke Health Care product and value proposition.
  • Identify and develop KOLs, in cooperation with the Sales Manager.
  • Provide updates with regards to market conditions, competitors and to management from time to time.

  

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Possess good communication skills (both verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Detail-oriented and numerate.
  • Client-oriented with commercial mindset and able to provide solutions.
  • Good attitude and aptitude to work in a team.
  • Possess a high level of accountability and job ownership.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organisational and selling skills.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business administration or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience in pharmaceutical, nursing, clinical or medical device industry, with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience of selling to customers in public and private hospitals and health institutions.
  • Prior background in nursing or wound care management with commercial understanding is advantageous
