We are now looking for an APAC & SSEA (South & Southeast Asia) Supply Chain Manager to play an 
important role in our Business Unit Team. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work

The Role’s main purpose are:

  • Lead and develop SSEA Supply Chain team and support the regional strategy in line with APAC 
  • Demand Driven Supply Chain Vision, whilst simultaneously supporting overall Mölnlycke APAC 
  • commercial strategy in a cost efficient manner. 
  • Provide logistics, planning and customer care solutions with a continuous improvement mindset 
  • with customer focus. Work on core APAC strategic development and enhancement 
  • opportunities and projects in collaboration with Global Operations Teams.
  • Take an active role in the SSEA management team to support a profitable growth in the region.
  • Develop the Supply Chain capabilities in the region based on regional demand and country 
  • unique demand in order to retain motivated and talented people, but also to support the 
  • expected high growth in the region


Key responsibilities you are expected of:

  • Manage operations in Singapore and South & Southeast Asia to ensure a cost-efficient and timely supply solution for the region.
  • Support high quality forecasting of demand in region together with distributors and sales and marketing group, within the MBM (sales and operations planning) process.
  • Support all quality, financial and commercial projects from a supply chain lead perspective for SSEA & Greater APAC region, along with regional supply chain optimization initiatives focused on APAC markets and SEPO Regional DC.
  • Actively participate in regional supply chain improvement activities in order to enhance and ensure best outcomes for Molnlycke globally.
  • Oversee on time updating APO for sales in SSEA region on a monthly basis, based on regional demand forecasting driven at market level by direct reports
  • Continuously analyze and develop the forecasting tools to ensure efficient and effective forecasting is carried out.
  • Ensure adequate safety stock levels are kept in all warehouses.
  • Secure timely replenishment of inventory at consignment inventory in Singapore and for various distributor owned goods in India, Malaysia and Thailand, based on demand forecasting.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of inventory in the consignment warehouses versus SAP in order to ensure correct volumes are accounted for.
  • Continuously review and evaluate appointed logistics partners and procure alternative solutions in the market.
  • Manage and pursue cost-effective warehouse and freight operations from the appointed logistics partners solely in SSEA and act as a support function across APAC and SEPO Regional DC warehousing and transportation contract administration. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery and invoicing to customers/distributors by your supply chain team.
  • Secure correct accounting of all inventory movements in SSEA markets, and support SEPO Logistics Operations Team in best practice adaptation
  • Manage regular (at least yearly) full stock-taking with warehousing partners, in cooperation with Finance Manager S&SEA, and APAC Supply Chain Director.
  • Continuously review, adapt and improve procedures and control for supply chain operations. 
  • Drive and implement local market KPI’s relevant to the complete supply chain spectrum in conjunction with manager with all direct reports in order to instil a culture of excellence. 
  • Attend regular departmental meetings with manager and APAC Supply Chain Director to build in continuous feedback mechanisms. 
  • Demonstrated negotiation and communicative skills both at a local and international level. 
  • Review inventory reports and surplus stock lists (SLOB reporting) to determine need for improvement in inventory control methods. 
  • Direct the initiation of local market corrective measures to restore a satisfactory inventory balance.
  • Monitor and apply for all credits due from suppliers within supplier guidelines and follow up to ensure credits due are honored. 
  • Meet the requirements of ISO by complying with all relevant quality policies and procedures to ensure the quality objectives of the business are met.
  • Comply with all relevant company occupational health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimizing accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.
  • Develop and update training materials/work instructions and train all relevant stakeholders in these processes including new employee orientation.

  • Reimbursement and replacement shipment arising from delivery/logistics issue.
  • Disposition on inventory with quality issue.
  • Stake-holder communication and other project information
  • Forecasting methodology deployment (supported by manager and APAC Demand & Supply Planner)


Taken with Manager:

  • Appointment of third-party logistics service provider.
  • Disposition on slow/nonmoving inventory.
  • Establishing of procedures for supply chain operations.
  • Decisions when large deviations from the original project plan occur in the area of cost, time and quality


What we consider an ideal fit?

  • Education: Tertiary
  • Previous experience minimum 3 years in a managerial position is highly desirable
  • Regional Exposure in APAC or EMEA/US markets is a must
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a supply chain position in an international organization. 
  • SAP SD / APO and MM experience is preferable
  • Exposure to sales & operations planning
  • Demand planning exposure
  • English language 
  • MS Office (focus on intermediate to high level Excel)
  • Knowledge on logistics operations (warehouse and freight)
