Purpose of Position
The Integration & Alliance Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the successful integration, governance, and long-term performance of Mölnlycke and Zhende’s strategic medical device Joint Venture in China.
The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex cross-functional integration initiatives across people, processes, systems, governance, and operating models. In parallel, the Integration & Alliance Manager supports the ongoing alliance relationship between JV partners by ensuring strategic alignment, proactive stakeholder engagement, robust governance, and effective issue resolution.
This position requires strong program and project management expertise, JV integration experience, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments within highly regulated healthcare and medical device markets.

What you'll do
1. Joint Venture Integration Leadership
•Lead and coordinate end-to-end JV integration activities from planning through stabilization and value realization.
•Develop and maintain the integrated JV roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
•Drive execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring dependencies, risks, and milestones are actively managed.
•Monitor integration progress, identify execution gaps, and implement corrective actions where required.
•Support synergy tracking and benefit realization initiatives.
2. Program & Project Management
•Apply structured project and program management methodologies to complex integration initiatives.
•Establish governance frameworks, project plans, milestones, deliverables, RAID logs, and reporting mechanisms.
•Facilitate cross-functional project reviews and executive steering committee meetings.
•Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality and compliance requirements.
•Drive continuous improvement of integration management processes and PMO practices.
3. Operating Model & Organizational Integration
•Lead the implementation and optimization of the JV Target Operating Model.
•Coordinate alignment of organizational structures, roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and governance processes.
•Facilitate operating model discussions between parent companies and JV leadership.
•Support organizational readiness and change management activities.
4. Strategic Alliance Management
•Act as a key liaison between parent companies and JV stakeholders.
•Foster collaborative working relationships across organizations and cultures.
•Support alliance governance forums and strategic partnership reviews.
•Ensure alignment on strategic priorities, commitments, and partnership objectives.
•Proactively identify and address issues that may impact alliance effectiveness.
5. Cross-Functional Integration Management
•Coordinate integration activities across Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Clinical functions.
•Drive alignment of functional objectives and ensure clear accountability across stakeholders.
•Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across organizations.
6. Regulatory, Quality & Compliance Integration
•Ensure integration initiatives align with China regulatory requirements and global compliance standards.
•Support harmonization of regulatory processes, quality systems, documentation practices, and governance frameworks.
•Collaborate with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure compliance with NMPA and international standards.
7. Systems, Data & Digital Integration
•Oversee integration planning for key business systems including ERP, CRM, Quality Management Systems, Regulatory Information Systems, and Supply Chain platforms.
•Coordinate data migration, governance, validation, and business readiness activities.
•Ensure system integration supports business continuity, compliance, and scalability.
8. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
•Maintain oversight of integration and alliance-related risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
•Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning activities.
•Escalate critical issues to leadership teams with recommended solutions.
•Track decision logs and ensure timely resolution of open actions.
9. Executive Reporting & Governance
•Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for JV leadership, Steering Committees, and Board-level governance forums.
•Provide data-driven insights on integration progress, risks, benefits realization, and alliance performance.
•Ensure governance decisions are documented, communicated, and implemented effectively.

What you'll need
Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
•Master's degree or MBA preferred.
•PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
•Minimum 8-10 years of experience in:
a) Joint Venture integration
b) Mergers & Acquisitions integration
c) PMO or Integration Management Office (IMO)
d) Business transformation
e) Strategic alliance management
f) Complex cross-functional project leadership
•Proven experience leading large-scale integration programs in highly regulated industries, preferably Medical Devices, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceuticals.
•Experience working across international organizations and multicultural stakeholder environments.
•Experience within China healthcare markets and knowledge of NMPA regulations is highly desirable.
