Head of Digital Strategy and Enablement

Head of Digital Integration China

Location: Shanghai

As Head of Digital Strategy and Enablement, you will report to the Digital Integration Sales and Marketing Director US & Asia, and be responsible for guiding the development, integration, and implementation of digital products within the China market. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of new and existing digital health solutions and establishing a local team to manage and execute on the digital strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital health, project management, and cross-cultural communication.

 

What you’ll do

•    Team Management: Build, lead and manage the China digital integration team for successful execution of the China digital strategy.
•    Digital Product Integration: Assist in the execution and integration of digital health products into the China market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
•    Project Management: Oversee the local planning, budgeting, execution, and monitoring of digital health projects and pilots, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals, with consistent and transparent communication of project status back to the digital services team.
•    Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with local teams, including IT, marketing, and clinical operations, as well as external partners to facilitate seamless integration of digital health solutions and pilots.
•    Change Management: Lead local change management efforts to drive the adoption and effective use of digital health products within local organizations adopting our digital solutions.
•    Market Expansion: Work closely with field sales team members, initially covering the digital part of the sales process, to ensure digital sales targets are met. Attend industry events and conferences as needed to support expansion of digital health initiatives.
•    Market Awareness: Identify influential subject matter experts and clinical leaders for potential pilot opportunities for digital health solutions and identify emerging solutions for both potential partnership and potential threats.
•    Training & Support: Organize training and ongoing support to local teams and end-users of digital solutions to ensure effective utilization of digital health solutions.
•    Sales Team Support: Provide the necessary tools, training, and support for China sales team members to ensure effective communication and successful digital solution positioning in the market.
•    Relationship Management: Act as the liaison between the global digital team members, local digital vendors, solution partners, and key opinion leaders, to ensure a consistent flow of communication and action on digital initativ

What you’ll need

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
•    Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
•    Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to bringing digital health products to market in China.
•    Curious about digital health solutions and their potential for market transformation 
•    High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a strong sense of accountability 
•    Ability to identify, analyse, solve problems and make decisions with confidence. 
•    Ability to motivate and manage a team towards market success.


Any other information

•    Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time to support national digital initiatives with international visits scheduled as needed.
•    Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule across international time zones.
•    Must be fluent in English.
•    Minimum 7 years working experience with at least 2 years of previous experience in digital solutions marketing, sales, or related field.

•    Bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine or a master’s degree will be strongly preferred.
•    Experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device company will be preferred
