Wound Care R&D is introducing an innovative working model designed to foster continuous learning, career development, and organizational agility. Our Internal R&D Partner Team will consist of 10-12 R&D Developers and Laboratory Engineers, each rotating between different assignments such as:
- Short-term vacancies – Filling in for team members on leave or providing temporary support during recruitment processes
- Business Support Projects – Contributing to high-priority initiatives across R&D

As a Senior R&D Developer in the Internal R&D Partner Team, you will take on a dynamic and varied role, acting as an internal consultant across multiple development teams. With a broad technical scope covering solutions, products, materials, and packaging, you will drive innovation and play a key role in shaping development within the R&D department.
This position is focused on leading the development and implementation of new products, materials, and packaging solutions while also overseeing design changes for existing products. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, you will contribute to advancing technical excellence within Wound Care R&D. With each assignment, you'll gain new insights, expand your expertise, and help strengthen the organization’s ability to adapt and innovate.
What you’ll do
- Lead, drive and execute design control projects to develop new or enhanced wound care dressings and solutions.
- Develop and enhance product, material, and packaging solutions to meet market needs.
- Coach R&D developers, Associate Product Developers and Product Developers.
- Suggest and drive activities to develop and implement new or improved ways of working.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards for technical documentation.
- Examples of roles you could be consulting in are; Product-, Material- or Packaging Developer, Technical Product Manager or Project Manager.

What you’ll need
- Deep technical knowledge in either medical devices (preferred), material or packaging
- Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device
- Deep knowledge in Design control and working in a PLM system
- Leadership skills
- Strong communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English
- General business acumen
- 8 years' experience within product/material/packaging development
- 2 years’ experience working with medical devices
- Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
