As a Tender & Contract Team Leader CEE there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day:

  • Continue to act as tender specialist in agreed areas of accountability. Plan and administrate the full local tender and contract process, to secure excellent quality of every tender and quotation submitted.
  • Support, guide and coach direct reports in their daily work to ensure a consistent high level of capability and performance. Support and develop direct reports in building and executing on their personal development plans enabling a talent and succession pipeline.
  • Manage and drive improvements in all areas of the tender submission process within all areas of the organization to ensure legal compliance, maximum efficiency and on time responses.
  • To identify areas of improvement and provide analysis from previous submissions/contracts to guide future opportunities and win rates including the delivery of training to internal stakeholders on CATE process and systems.
  • Lead and liaise with internal stakeholders on any customer contract review, and when required liaison with legal, to ensure contract compliance.
  • In collaboration with the COMEX manager deliver training to relevant functions/departments on tender & contract management processes and system use to drive best practice and optimize ways of working.

 

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with independent tender management in Czech Republic (life science industry preferably). Knowledge about tender procedures in other CEE countries will be an advantage.
  • Proficient level of business acumen.
  • Solid project management skills and experience of process development and continuous improvement is mandatory. (Process orientation and Lean Management mindset.)
  • Experience as a team leader / coordinator / project leader. Ability to develop people through coaching, and training.
  • Experience in participating in IT tool implementation projects highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP will be an advantage.
  • Native level of Czech and fluent in English language. Another CEE language will be an advantage.
