Job Description
Commercial Excellence Analyst

Commercial Excellence Analyst

  • Location: Oakville, Canada
  • Department: Wound Care
  •

At Mölnlycke, we help to improve patient outcomes around the world—and behind every great product is a team making better decisions through data.

We’re looking for a Commercial Excellence Analyst to join our Canadian team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly created role where you’ll play a key part in shaping how we use data to drive commercial success.

You won’t just be building reports—you’ll be influencing decisions, partnering across teams, and helping us translate complex data into meaningful action.

About the role

As our Commercial Excellence Analyst, you’ll sit at the intersection of data, strategy, and collaboration. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to bring clarity to performance, identify opportunities, and support key commercial decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of data and the human side of storytelling and collaboration.

You’ll start by building and strengthening our reporting capabilities—and over time, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the role and make it your own.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze commercial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to support business decisions and performance tracking
  • Support pricing, contracts, and rebate analytics to ensure accuracy and visibility
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and data quality
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business
  •

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
  • Experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar tools
  • Ability to work with and interpret complex datasets
  • Exposure to tools like Power Query, SQL, or similar is an asset
  •

What really sets you apart

  • You can translate data into insights that others can easily understand and act on
  • You’re comfortable stepping outside of your comfort zone and taking ownership of problems
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally and building relationships
  • You’re curious, adaptable, and motivated to keep learning in a changing data landscape
  • You bring a “can-do” mindset and enjoy contributing to a collaborative team environment

Why join us?

This is more than just an analyst role—it’s a chance to help build something new.

  • Be part of a close-knit, high-performing team where your voice is heard
  • Gain exposure across the business and work directly with commercial leaders
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working model (2 days in-office)
  • Shape how data is used across the organization—and see the impact of your work
  • Grow your career in an environment that values curiosity, ownership, and collaboration

What to expect

In your first months, you’ll focus on getting to know our data, systems, and stakeholders, while building foundational reporting. As you grow into the role, you’ll partner more closely with the business, influence decisions, and help evolve our commercial insights capabilities.

Ready to make a difference?

If you’re excited by the idea of turning data into impact—and want to be part of a team where you can truly make your mark—we’d love to hear from you.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 1–5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role
  • Proven ability to work with data to generate insights that support business decision-making
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders such as Sales, Finance, or Marketing is preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power Query, SQL, Fabric, or other data platforms is an asset

Our approach to Diversity and Inclusion

It brings fresh perspectives, drives better decisions, and helps us deliver solutions that reflect the world we serve. Inclusion isn’t just a value; it’s how we work, grow, and lead together.
