Mölnlycke is looking for a Clinical Manager to support our Wound Care business' vision and strategic plans in Canada. Working in tandem with our leadership team, this role will be instrumental in developing collegial and professional relationships to influence change in healthcare. With a passion for teaching, you'll represent Molnlycke by organizing KOL events, presenting to decision-makers, and being involved in onsite training with clinicians.  Additionally, the Clinical Manager facilitates the clinical sales strategy in focused accounts and supports the sales call pathway from a clinical orientation.

  • As part of the National Leadership team for Canada you'll work in partnership with the General Manager-Canada & VP of Medical & Professional Affairs to develop and oversee the Canadian clinical strategy, aligning with annual marketing and sales objectives. 
  • Align with the corresponding National Sales Manager and National Accounts Manager to collaborate on improving overall team processes, monitor the effectiveness of clinical programs, and assist with planning to support sales and GPO strategies. 
  • Develop and implement Advisory Boards, Focus Groups and Forums and facilitate KOL programs throughout Canada that raise corporate or brand awareness and build strong relationships
  • Write, review and edit commercial marketing material, customized customer collateral, abstracts, articles and journal submissions in order to support sales and brand initiatives.
  • Aid in the development and submission of clinical/scientific written evidence (e.g. articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals, posters for conferences and exhibitions) in order to support the commercial objectives of the Canadian Wound Care Division.
  • Initiate and coordinate clinical studies (i.e. case studies, pilot studies, observational studies, user evaluations) as directed by Canadian marketing and/or Global marketing.; identify and maintain appropriate clinical and scientific evidence for use within the Company in line with the requirements of the Canadian Wound Care Division.  
  • Develop and implement the Clinical Sales Strategy with sales in top targeted accounts.
  • Deliver product-related programs, including professional education events, development of evidence (i.e., QIPs) and other peer-to-peer events to appropriate audiences and groups that grow or defend Molnlycke’s Wound Care product portfolio.
  • Coordinate clinical activities with designated AM, National Sales Manager (NSM) and Marketing team to assist in the achievement of sales goals to improve patient and clinical outcomes.
  • Act as the primary clinical resource for Area Managers, ensuring that clinical policies and procedures are properly implemented.
  • Provide training and support for new hires; Assist with additional training of AMs in the classroom, in the field and at National Sales Meetings.
  • Represent MHC as an active member of Clinical Associations.
  • Collaborate with Americas Medical and Professional Affairs (MPA) department members and key stakeholders to ensure activities drive core business results.
  • Serves as a clinical resource in the research and development of new products, clinical trials, and the market launch of new products or services as requested
  • To represent Canada on any Regional/Global Clinical initiatives

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or other related medical training with active licenses (i.e. MD, PT, NP, PA) and 7+ years progressively responsible, clinically related experience
  • NSWOC preferred; Advanced degree preferred
  • English (primary language) and French (preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wound care products and companies through clinical experiences
  • Experience in presenting to large and small groups; Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experienced in writing, editing and implementing clinical protocols, policies and procedures.
  • Experienced in developing, training and presenting wound care-related education

 

Work / Life Balance

  • Overnight travel expectation is 50%
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain credentialing, including Covid vaccinations
