To continue our 2022 growth plans we are looking to add an Associate Marketing Manager in Canada! 

 

Ideally based in the Toronto/Oakville area, the Associate Marketing Manager (AMM)  will support the Marketing Manager in the definition and implementation of marketing plans, leading digital transformation programs, leading marketing corporate events and ensuring adequate marketing material for Canada’s salesforce. Together with the Marketing Manager, the AMM will be responsible for market shaping activities within all channels – with emphasis on the non-acute channels that will enable Mölnlycke’s value proposition within Home Care, LTC, Pharmacies and select service providers.

 

Here are some additional ways you’ll support the business:

  • This role will lead the digital transformation program for the company, contributing with the definition of a local plan and implementation of global digital initiatives.
  • Together with the Business Development Manager-Non-acute space will enable and implement the marketing strategy, including: Direct-to-patients and caregivers campaigns and retail channel.
  • The AMM will assist in creating marketing toolkits to support the sales force and will liaise with the Global team to “localize” marketing collaterals.
  • Will work closely with the salesforce to identify KOLs and advocates, in order to raise Molnlycke's profile within selected focus therapies and segments. Together with the local sales teams they will plan and organize customer Medical Education events. This role will be accountable for ensuring the smooth implementation of scheduling and planning at selected conferences that will ultimately improve customer relations and brand awareness.
  • This role will own market intelligence process,  including market dynamics, market shares, customer insights and competitor information, enabling market evaluation and decision making.
  • The AMM will support the Marketing Manager in the forecast and budget exercise.
  • This role will assist in developing marketing and selling strategies for new and existing brands / products, as well as provide brand input for development and implementation of advertising, promotion, and public relations campaigns.

 

Primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

    • 40% Non-Acute marketing activities
    • 30% Acute marketing activities  
    • 30% Miscellaneous

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Business, or Marketing from accredited college / university
  • At least 4 years healthcare experience including in-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, brand management and product launch.  Wound care experience would be an asset
  • Digital Marketing experience – preferred
  • Candidates must have experience in the sales / marketing arena of the healthcare industry, preferably medical devices in Canada. Medical device retail experience – preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical settings within non-acute channel in Canada – preferred; Have a good understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape including knowledge of market access and /or health economics
  • Sales and/or medical education experience would be an asset
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Bilingual (English/ French) would be an asset
  • Requires 20-25% travel
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required credentialing to perform job, including COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., Health Canada and Medtech) and Company policies and procedures
  • Should be able to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, walk for long distances and stoop
