We’re looking for a Raw Materials Coordinator to assist in our mission improve outcomes for healthcare professionals and their patients.

 

The role:

 

A unique opportunity to join the Oldham team as this role forms key part of executing our investment in a new rapid response planning system within our Woundcare Business Area. It will suit someone who is naturally analytical, genuinely passionate about improving processes and has a talent for problem solving. You will be working alongside the current Site Supply Chain Manager and Site Director to build strong cross functional relationships which will be pivotal to successfully delivering the raw materials plan.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure proactive, timely and accurate material scheduling, expediting of material shipments and rolling forecast sharing with supplier base.
  • Proactive and accurate communication to key stakeholders across the value chain to mitigate any supply or demand risks and facilitate decision making
  • Maintain planning Master Data for raw material following local and global policies
  • Update Site Business System planning data to enable alignment of production schedules
  • End to end management and order creation for sub-contract processing
  • Communicate delivery deviations to relevant stakeholders, identify solutions and complete impact assessments
  • Support quality department to resolve and close-out supplier CAPAs.
  • Identify and drive improvement within planning and initiatives to reach supply targets
  • Support finance in driving inventory health and minimizing scrap costs
  • Deputies for Site Supply Chain Manager during leave periods
  • Gather input from Supply Network Planner and share with suppliers
  • Proactively identify potential supply risks along all horizons and define alternative mitigation scenario

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar planning or supply chain role
  • Understanding of the FMCG industry and highly regulated environments
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of improving processes and automating procedures
  • Previous problem solving, resolution identification and solution implementation
