Wound Care Regional Training Manager - Central

We’re now looking for an Regional Training Manager to play an important role in our Commercial function. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work means – coupled with your ability to listen to customers and respond with appropriate urgency.    

The Opportunity 

In this role, the Regional Training Manager is responsible for the training and skill development of TSM’s, SA’s across the region. The RTM will support the Region Manager by facilitating regional training for the TSM/SA. Training activities will be conducted through, field rides providing coaching and development, regional and national meeting support developing and/or delivering product and clinical tools, sales call pathway development utilizing the administrative management tools available. This position has overall responsibility for executing and maintaining training activity within assigned region. Additionally, this position will be aligned to the financial and business strategy of the region, focused on strategic categories to deliver volume and profit goals of the region. 


Key Accountabilities 

-Provide support to aligned Region Manager; Conducting field visits to coach and develop on core competencies (includes clinical & territory management)  

-Provide support to Sales Training through curriculum development, skill development, business planning and meeting support  

-Provide on-boarding and field training for all new hires  

-Develop core competence in AWC and selling skills across aligned TSMs, to include new hires and tenured TSM’s  

-Provide support for new product launches and initiatives outlined by HQ (Marketing/Sales/Sales Training)  

-Provide support on developing the utilization of account administration management tools such as Cognos and to ensure complete and accurate customer records  

-Provides regular reports to sales management (RM & Sales Training) of new hires activities and results  

-Ensure all trainings are documented and measured for success  

-Lead the in-field training and the development, introduction, and evaluation of team and individual capability development systems and support tools for the US Mölnlycke Sales Force  

-Provide strategic feedback to the Training team for on-boarding, field training, and the implementation of Molnlycke selling initiatives  

-Is a Key Contact with the Molnlycke Senior Director of Training and training team to ensure collaboration and common goals  


Key Decisions 

Develop core competence in AWC and selling skills across aligned TSMs  

-Support development of account administration management tools

Qualifications and Experience 

-Bachelor’s degree required  

-Comprehensive knowledge of the wound care industry  

-5-7 years’ experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales; experience in medical device is strongly preference;  

-1-2 years preferred experience effectively training (coaching, counseling) individuals within a sales organization  

-Management experience is a plus, but not required  

-Demonstrated expertise in training large and small groups (i.e., tradeshow demos, NSM or Regional meeting breakout facilitation)  

-Proven track record of success selling outside the ICU. Acute Care experience needed, Operating Room experience preferred  

-Demonstrated performance working cross functional initiatives.  

-Well-developed skills to provide support to and rapidly comprehend new and emerging digital offerings and technologies (i.e., as evidenced by Salesforce utilization)  


Additional Information 

-Ability to travel regularly – 75% of time with overnight stays  

-Willingness to relocate into a Region Manager role
