Sr. Director, Strategic Accounts

The purpose of this role:

In this role, you are responsible for leading a team of experienced Strategic Accounts Directors to achieve company objectives for assigned top accounts. You’ll oversee the strategy in top segmented accounts, development of business plans, alignment of strategic account plans with customer goals as well as company’s strategies and initiatives.

 

Key Accountabilities:

-manage a team of 8

-responsible for assisting your team in creating and maintaining "C" Suite stakeholders and their partnership/engagement

-having a goal to hit the targeted execution plan

-conducting quarterly business reviews

-ability to lead the team to implement clinical and health economic solutions that are aligned with Wound Care, Surgical, and Post-Acute business units

-develop and present contracting proposals to strategic pricing committees, leadership meetings, and other venues

-lead your team and coach them on representing the company in sales calls and negotiations with strategic accounts and developing/maintaining effective customer relations

-ensure team personnel have appropriate training and support to accomplish their objectives

-responsible for development and execution of business plans for each strategic account assigned to the team

-manages budget for team and reviews/evaluates various data and information such as gross margins, competitive activity, account feedback, etc.

-acts as a resource to U.S. Leadership Team

-collaborates with internal department (i.e. marketing, sales, professional education, legal, contracting, finance, Wound Care, Surgical, Post-Acute) on respective account management as well as special ssales projecets/promotions as requested

-travel: up to 50%

 

Qualifications/Experience:

-Bachelor's degree

-Master's degree preferred

-3-5 years successful leadership experience managing a team; medical device area leadership experience preferred

-3-5 years successful Strategic Account Management and or Health Economics experience preferred

-10-12 years experience in B2B sales; experience in medical device is strongly preferred

-Demonstrated experience in collaborating with IDN "C" Suite customers

Preventing pressure ulcers: with Mepilex® Border used prophylactically and devices to help turn and re-position patients 

Surgical solutions: including Mölnlycke trays, HiBi® antiseptics and Biogel® surgical gloves
