We’re now looking for a Senior Accountant to play an important role in our Finance division. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work means – coupled with your ability to listen to customers and respond with appropriate urgency.     

 

This opportunity is located in Norcross, GA.
 

The purpose of this position is to support the Director of Accounting. Responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting duties such as monitoring various ledger accounts, preparing journal entries and financial reports. Reporting of actual results along with budget/forecasting on a monthly and annual basis. Fixed Asset Maintenance. Balance sheet reconciliations. Special projects as assigned.
Key Accountabilities:

-To support Director of Accounting

-Responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting duties such as monitoring various ledger accounts, preparing journal entries and financial reports

-Reporting of actual results along with budget/forecasting on a monthly and annual basis

-Fixed Asset Maintenance. Balance sheet reconciliations. Special projects as assigned.

Competencies/Qualifications & Experience:

-Analytical skills necessary to conduct monthly closings, prepare complex financial statements, and monitor account analyses;

-Full general ledger knowledge;

-Communication skills necessary to explain policies and/or procedures related to tracking and reporting financial information and to work cooperatively with external auditors;

-Highly organized individual with the ability to prioitize work load;

-Strong functionality in financial support sytems including ERP systems (SAP), Excel and database reporting.

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university;

-Knowledge of general accounting principles, accounting theory, general ledger and financial report preparation;

-3+ years progressive experience in accounting profession;

-SAP experience required;

-Advanced Excel Database desireable
