Senior Marketing Manager- Turning & Positioning -Norcross, GA

We are currently searching for Senior Marketing Manager- Turning & Positioning Division . This person will be based in our corporate office in Norcross, GA.

In this Sr. Marketing Manager role, you’ll be responsible for the development, management and execution of U.S. product marketing strategies and tactics for the Turning and Positioning Portfolio. This includes the development of communications strategy, budget creation, pro forma profit and loss (P&L) preparation, periodic business analyses, trade marketing strategy, market expansion strategy, new product launches, supervision of the public relations (PR) plan and day to day execution of the marketing plan.  Additionally, you are expected to be able to make strategic recommendations to management on how the company can best meet its financial objectives on a portfolio basis.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Product Management

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the T&P  portfolio of brands
  • Identify incremental product opportunities for the assigned products / brands
  • Development of product and market research through collaboration with upstream marketing at HQ Sweden and the local sales force
  • Contribute to long-term product planning and post-launch product performance analysis
  • Project leadership
  • Assume leadership role in championing product assignments, providing the vision for the positioning and marketing of the product throughout the US and global WC organization
  • Work directly with key clinical contacts and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
  • Partner with outside agencies to identify product creative strategies and ensure all communication materials deliver against that strategy
  • Support sales team on marketing programs and sales materials communication
  • Create a digital strategy for the portfolio to drive market awareness and expansion
  • Interface with Finance for financial planning and strategy
  • In close partnership with our Sales Training Department, work to enhance related product and knowledge competence via training platforms

Business Analysis

  • Perform quantitative analyses, including sales, profitability, inventory, marketing expense tracking, initial product recommendations, marketing efficiency, and competitive analyses
  • Identify business opportunities and perform the appropriate independent analysis with a cross functional team of finance, R&D, supply chain
  • Work with operations to meet product distribution and objectives
  • Work with key personnel on product strategy, concept assessment and product development
  • New product launch planning including all aspects of launch from product messaging, PIPO, sales force training, pricing, campaigns, etc.
  • Work directly with International Product Management on global projects and initiatives
  • Develop Comprehensive Product Marketing Plan / P&L for the product line
  • Develop an annual marketing and business plan for each assigned product or brand
  • Create trade marketing and distribution strategies that maximize revenue and profit for all assigned products
  • Oversee the development of the advertising, promotional, direct marketing(traditional and digital) associated with each brand.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field of study, from an accredited college / university, MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years healthcare experience including in-depth knowledge of marketing strategies, brand management, forecasting techniques, and profit and loss (P&L) analysis with at least 2 years in a market-facing role ( presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research, Customer/KOL engagement programs)
  • Candidates should have experience in the sales / marketing arena of the healthcare industry, preferably medical devices
  • Digital marketing experience strongly preferred

ADDITONAL INFORMATION

  • Requires 30-40% travel
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required credentialing to perform job
  • Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, DEA, OSHA) and Company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, walk for long distances and stoop
