We’re now looking for an Infrastructure Manager to play an important role in our IT function. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work means – coupled with your ability to listen to customers and respond with appropriate urgency.     

*This position is located in Norcross, GA.


The Infrastructure Manager will serve the business organisation with infrastructure services, service trainings and knowledge of global and local solutions. 


The role:

-Is responsible for the overall regional infrastructure delivery, this includes project implementations as well as regional systems or applications related to the infrastructure functions

-Is responsible for ensuring regional infrastructure is aligned with policies and procedures according to global standards

-Has a strong connection to the Global Solution Management organization and will act as the point of contact for coordination and questions related to the global infrastructure services

-Acts in an advisory role to capture business demands as well as ensuring that the regional infrastructure objectives and budget are aligned with the business requirements


Key Accountabilities:

-Work with business stakeholders to gather regional requirements for infrastructure services

-Drive the regional infrastructure/workplace roadmap in close collaboration with the global functions and the other regions

-Ensure proper life cycle management of the regional/local infrastructure landscape

-Manage and coordinate global and local infrastructure activities (projects and change requests), this includes planning, implementation, financial and follow up

-Drive change and standardization in accordance to Global IT service strategy

-Represent the region in global forums to ensure regional/local requirements and demands are included in the service development activities

-Act as the point of contact for the region for coordination and questions related to the global infrastructure services

-Manage infrastructure vendors for the region

-Ensure that Infrastructure security baselines are followed in regional and local activities

-Ensure adherence to and follow up trends on the ITSM processes such as change management, request fulfillment and incident management

-Second line investigation and diagnosis, resolve incidents and requests

-Provide user training and establish key user structure where applicable, including an updated knowledge base

-Escalate and follow up incidents and requests which can’t be solved within agreed SLAs or responsibilities

-Identify and escalate reoccurring incidents


Shared with others:

-Decide the regional infrastructure/workplace roadmap

-Change in scope and budget for Projects and Change Requests

-Evaluation of new suppliers and technologies as well as supplier agreements



-Comprehensive knowledge in the infrastructure/ workplace area

-Basic knowledge in IT security and enterprise architecture

-Understanding of business drivers and the ability to translate that into demands on IT, in order to provide IT services that meets business needs

-Communication, be able to switch seamlessly between the language of business people and of IT specialists and explain IT issues in non-technical ways

-Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with a variety of stakeholders at a variety of levels in and outside the organization

-Systems and process thinking with the ability to see how parts interact with the whole system landscape

-High goal orientation and determination to deliver business value, with a strong customer focus

-Fluent in English, both verbal and written


Qualifications & Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university

-5+ years of related infrastructure management experience

-2+ years’ of vendor management experience

-2+ years’ SharePoint support experience

-Solid knowledge within service management (ITIL framework)

-Strong organization skills, self-going and self-motivating

-Team player and a motivator

-Experience working for an internal company is a plus

-Knowledge of Health Care Industry is a plus


Other Information:

-Be the primary technical resource for collaboration

-Support US Email Archiving (Mimecast) environment and support Legal with occasional Email and Email archive search cases

-Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed, up to 10% travel required
