Financial Analyst

We're currently searching for a Financial Analyst to join our team. Based out of our Norcross office, the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years related work experience, comfortable working with large amounts of data and prior healthcare experience is a plus. Responsibilities will include:

  • Under general supervision, provides analytical and technical support to the Sr. Director and the US FP&A department by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing a variety of financial information and preparing reports, trends, forecasts, and the like. 
  • Tracks and monitors actual, budgeted, and forecasted revenue and expenditures.  Prepares routine and ad hoc financial reports for management.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and verifies financial information and statistics necessary to conduct detailed analyses of operating conditions, prepare trends and forecasts, and generate special studies related to market share, profitability, growth, expense control, and other relevant financial metrics.
  • Tracks and monitors financial information, analyzes same, and contacts departments to clarify unusual and/or unexpected variances as necessary.  Assists in preparing and consolidating forecasts and presenting to management.
  • Prepares a variety of reports and analyses of current financial conditions and distributes and presents to department management according to established schedule.
  • Regularly communicates with business partners and other financial personnel in order to gather, exchange, and/or verify various financial data and statistics.     
  • Meets with Sr Director and department managers to assist in developing sales, operating expense, and capital forecasts as required according to global finance calendar.
  • Periodically analyzes sales and operating expenditures and trends, estimates impact on total targets and forecasts, recommends potential adjustments to same to attain the goals of the organization.
  • Prepares presentation material depicting financial results and outlook including tables and graphs.
  • Performs ad hoc financial analyses as directed and/or in response to questions from management.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, and statistics
  • 5 years related work experience, two of those years in accounting, in order to gain full understanding of budgeting procedures and to gain necessary skills in financial analysis, preferred.
