Director of Contract Administration & Pricing

Based in Metro Atlanta (Norcross, GA), the Director of Contract Administration & Pricing is responsible for crafting the revenue management strategy and influencing company leaders and external partners to realize consistent contract management and pricing outcomes.  This role has responsibility for creating and managing contracts for business executed via GPOs and directing all priorities for revenue and chargeback management including rebates, administrative fees, and chargeback claims

 

In this role, the Director will:

  • Evolve the team structure for membership, contracts, chargebacks, payments, and pricing, as well as find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and maturity in contract administration and pricing.  . 
  • Lead the team in structuring the contractual relationships with GPOs effectively and support the strategic accounts team in communicating pricing and contract policies to support the business. 
  • Determine future functionality needed in compliance reporting, price optimization, and Model N, the platform used to manage chargebacks and revenue management.    
  • Develops the strategic priorities for contract administration and pricing.  Determines resources needed to execute the strategic plan and the roadmap for them. 
  • Mentor team leaders and provide direction to help them mature in their leadership style and skills. Provide direction to team on contract, membership, and pricing maintenance to ensure compliance with our contractual language.
  • Evaluate the structure of the team to ensure it supports the future needs and develop metrics to measure output and capacity. 
  • Working in conjunction with the analytics team, develop standardized reporting to identify customer contract eligibility and compliance, assess performance in QBRs, distributor reviews, and GPO leadership meetings. 
  • Evaluate pricing methodology and build pricing strategy.   
  • Lead the team in preparing responses to RFPs for both commercial and government customers through coordination with marketing, sales, clinical, distribution, customer care, regulatory, legal, etc.
  • Monitor, analyze, and ensure accuracy of contract sales associated with GPO admin fees, distributor fees, incentive, rebates, and other payments. Support GPO sales team in new contract roll-outs including customer “pre-slot” activities.
  • Manage distributor chargeback process including process development, training, error resolution, chargeback tolerance setting, and  distributor collaboration.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement EDI transactions across all prioritized distributors

 

We’re looking for a dynamic leader with:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Health Administration or any other related field.
  • Proven ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range strategies and goals driving appropriate results.
  • A player / coach mentality that makes you excited to roll up your sleeves to advance projects directly, while also managing small high performing teams.
  • Track record of continuous improvement and transformational change.
  • Ability to conduct data-rich analysis and build consensus around recommendations.
  • Employees hired after November 1, 2021 are required to be fully vaccinated within 30 days of their employment as a requirement of employment.  During the first 30 days, if not already fully vaccinated, employees will be required to test weekly at their own expense.
