Molnlycke is hiring a Digital Integration Sales & Marketing Director- US and Asia

 

In this newly launched role, the Digital Integration Sales & Marketing Director will lead and be accountable for the seamless integration of our digital solutions business in the US and Asia markets, co-owning the strategic vision for both regions in alignment with the strategic vision for global expansion. Reporting directly to the VP of Digital Solutions, the role involves close collaboration with the local sales and marketing leaders, both internal and newly acquired, to ensure a smooth transition and drive market introduction.

 

As a key player, you will be instrumental in building and implementing strategies that propel our digital solutions into international markets, working closely with the regions for effective market penetration and sustained growth.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive integration strategy for merging digital solutions into the US and Asia markets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Expansion Strategy: Develop and drive a roadmap for expanding digital solutions in the US and Asia markets, considering regulatory requirements, cultural differences, and market dynamics in these locations.
  • Champion strong collaboration between internal sales teams and counterparts in the newly acquired company to create a unified approach and leverage collective expertise.
  • Lead the planning and execution of market introduction strategies, adapting approaches based on local market nuances, and preparing for subsequent global expansion.
  • Work closely with field sales across all levels, initially covering the digital part of the sales process to ensure digital sales targets.  
  • Sales Team Enablement: Work closely with field sales representatives providing the necessary tools, training, and support to ensure effective communication and successful product positioning in the market.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with integration and market introduction, owning the implementation of proactive measures to mitigate any adverse impacts on the business
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of integration efforts, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, including marketing, operations, R&D, to spearhead efforts and achieve a cohesive integration process.
  • Collaborate with corporate team on M&A process of actual and coming digital solutions opportunities, being accountable for scouting the market for alternative and new M&A targets and ensuring an effective and successful DD process.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction during the integration process.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the VP Digital Solutions on the progress of integration efforts, sales performance, and any challenges faced, ensuring transparent communication across the organization.

Experience & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales management, or a sales-related role within Medical Devices, MedTech, or Healthcare SaaS, including 4+ years of proven track record of successfully leading integration efforts in a similar industry. 
  • Prior leadership role with responsibilities for integration, sales, or business development and familiarity with digital solutions and technology-driven industries in a regulated environment.
  • Successful track record of expanding business operations globally.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for market integration and global expansion.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire cross-functional teams and sales representatives.
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing sales enablement programs to equip sales teams for success.
  • Understanding of global market dynamics, regulatory environments, and cultural nuances for effective international expansion.
