Mölnlycke is searching for an Area Sales Director to lead our Wound Care team in the Southeast! An ideal candidate brings a passion for developing and empowering employees to their full potential, collaborates easily with cross-functional teams and is knowledgeable on market trends within healthcare & medical device. Your region is comprised of industry leaders who’ve built highly successful teams in the Wound Care space. As the Corporate liaison to Key Customers you’ll work in concert with Strategic Accounts and the Regional Sales team to achieve sales goals and increase market share. Through successful leadership, strategic collaboration and achievement of goals you’ll be seen as a key prospect for Senior Leadership roles -we believe in developing our talent!


Additional you will:

  • Partner with the VP, US Wound Care Sales & Marketing in developing and overseeing business strategy, implementation of objectives, compensation plans, and other programs to drive efficient and profitable sales of the Wound Care product line
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals by region, key account, and market segment, analyzes sales data to evaluate results achieved, and initiates appropriate recognition and corrective actions to ensure achievement of sales targets
  • Effectively manage company resources by selecting region trade shows and functions that will maintain necessary account contacts and promote business; approve regional trade show arrangements, expenditures, and attendance by sales staff
  • Proactively attract, develop and retain talent to meet current and future business needs
  • Effectively manage team and individual performance challenges through channels


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in Medical Device/Medical Supply sales and at least 5 years of experience in sales management; experience in Wound Care is preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience in translating both clinical and economic evidence for outcomes-based selling and coaching of teams
  • Must willing to perform at least 50% overnight travel
  • Must live in and maintain residence in covered geography for the duration of time in role
  • Must hold valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required credentialing to perform job including COVID-19 Vaccinations
