Accounting Intern (10 Week 2026 Summer Internship)

Position Summary
The Accounting Intern supports the Finance & Accounting team by assisting with core accounting activities, financial reporting, and operational processes. This role is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment while developing technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Support monitoring of general ledger accounts and research variances or discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, schedules, and documentation
- Assist with invoice review and tax applicability assessments
- Support tax compliance activities including data gathering and documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with daily cash postings
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
- Participate in process improvements and ad hoc projects
- Deliver clear and concise updates, including presentations, to team members and leadership

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a recent graduate
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required)
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills (required)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Must be onsite in our Norcross, GA office 3 days/week
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or similar
- Prior internship or project experience in accounting or finance
Development Opportunity
This internship provides exposure to key accounting functions including general ledger, tax support, and financial reporting. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.
