We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to strengthen our team. The position will be based in Mikkeli, one of our largest Production site in Mikkeli, Finland.

As our Purchasing Manager you play a key role in securing good relations and building trust both inside and outside of the organisation.  

You will be part of a global team where collaboration and teamwork plays an important role in securing our strategy moving forward. 


Your responsibilities

You will contribute to our competitiveness of the products by obtaining advantageous commercial terms for raw materials used in the factories. In this role you will monitor and follow up the supplier performance and take actions accordingly. Collaboration with other functions such as R&D and Quality is key to ensure the quality of the raw material. Monitoring the market and industry trends is something that will enable the right foundation for making the right decisions with suppliers

You will negotiate and establish agreements to support our identified strategies.To analyse, plan and follow up on processes is something that will be part of your daily work. This will also lead you to continiously working on improvements with the aim of optimizing our purchase conditions for strategic raw materials. 

As our new Purchasing Manager you will be a member of the Factory Management team in Mikkeli, you will also have one person reporting to you.


Your qualifications/experience

- Degree in technology management or business administration
- Extensive experience from purchasing in an intenational company
- Negotiation skill 
- Experience in supplier management 
- Commercial agreements & policies knowledge
 - Fluent in English 

Vital for this role is the ability to build long-term relationship both with external and internal partners. As a person you have an analytical and business mindset. You will also need to have good communication skills being able to influence in line with our goals and strategies. You will need to  be able to have many thing ongoing at the same time without losing focus on critical aspects. You are open as a person and like to share you knowledge and ideas with the team.
