We are now looking for a Payroll Specialist with an interest in HR to join our People Experience Cluster Nordics department. The role is to be situated at our site in Mikkeli, Finland. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to boost their career in human resources field.



  • Manage and develop payroll and human resources administration in order to secure efficient working processes in Finland
  • Provide professional and confidential first line payroll support to employees and managers in Finland
  • Contribute actively to payroll and hr it system development



  • Manage payroll administration according to policies, labour law and regulations.
  • Process and archive absenteeism records to ensure accurate payroll and employment data.
  • Develop, maintain and document effective working procedures to establish an efficient and accurate payroll administration.
  • Ensure that the payroll system is configured in a way that it is compliant with laws,- and regulations.
  • Responsible for resolving any payroll system issues in cooperation with system supplier and line manager.
  • Support the People and Finance functions with relevant and accurate information and data derived from the payroll system.
  • Provide service and support to all employees and managers in all payroll related matters.
  • As a part of the People experience Nordics cluster, contribute and support People related project from time to time.

  • Understanding of laws and regulations affecting the payroll process (labour law and collective agreements)
  • Strong IT skills
  • In minimum 1-2 years’ experience in HR and payroll area backed up by relevant education in these fields
  • English and Finnish language skills
