We are currently looking for a HSE Manager to join Mölnlycke Health Care’s factory in Mikkeli. This person will oversee setting and developing our factory’s sustainability and occupational safety culture and guide us towards superior sustainability and zero incident targets. Your tasks

  • Development and lead of the plants Sustainability Road Map, occupational safety culture and operations towards superior sustainability and zero work accidents goal, also setting annual goals
  • Incident investigations
  • Training, guidance and involvement of the organization in occupational safety
  • Be the organizations’ expert in anticipating and evaluating occupational safety risks
  • Lead and develop continuous factory planning and crisis management capabilities
  • Influencing global occupational safety practices and implementing of global models as part of the Mikkeli plants occupational safety system
  • Develops environmental management system
  • Sets goals for environmental work and ensure that the goals are met
  • Assessment of environmental risks and assuring the continuous learning for employees in the factory
  • Lead the factory sustainability roadmap development and implementation
  • Follow up and report on the realization of occupational safety and environmental objectives to management
  • Ensure reporting to authorities
  • Responsibility to carry out occupational safety and environmental audits at the factory

 

Your background

  • Work experience of at least 5+ years of health, safety and environment related tasks. If you have a degree in subjects related to occupational studies, environmental studies or equivalent we see this as a plus
  • If you have experience from middle management, this is an advantage
  • Interest in technology
  • Knowledge of risk assessments and continuous planning
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14000 and common sustainability goals
  • English and Finnish, written and spoken is a must for this role as you will operate in an international company
