Accounting Manager ESP/ITA

We are looking for an Accounting Manager responsible for accounting and reporting for Mölnlycke Spain, Italy, and Portugal. If you have a passion for delivering results, this position could be a great opportunity for you

Location: Madrid office

 

You’ll make a significant contribution in the following areas:

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in line with local GAAP and Group policies, including reconciliation between frameworks.

· Submit monthly reporting and disclosures into Group reporting channels.

· Ensure timely and accurate legal reporting.

· Prepare and submit statutory financial statements, income tax returns, VAT, and other regulatory filings for all the 3 countries in scope.

· Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality, working with shared business service teams.

· Implement and maintain the Group internal control framework and key controls within the entity.

· Act as primary contact for auditors and authorities; coordinate audits and ensure compliance.

· Prepare tax packs, analyze permanent and temporary differences, and apply country-specific adjustments.

· Ensure reconciliations and true ups of all balance sheet accounts; resolve aged items promptly.

· Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality.

 

What you will need:

· Academic degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.

· 5+ years’ experience in accounting roles or audit/public accounting within international companies.

· Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, tax compliance, and group consolidation.

· Experience with advanced accounting issues and closing processes.

· Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Spanish. Italian will be a plus.

· Highly IT literate; ideally with knowledge of SAP, group reporting tools and Excel.
