Product Manager Wound Care

We’re now looking for a Product Manager Wound Care to play an important role in the marketing function.

 

Purpose of position :

  • Develop sales and profitability for defined product groups in order to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing on to three-year plans for designated products in line with agreed sales and cost budgets

 

Key accountabilities :​​​​​​​

  • Develop market knowledge, update and analyze market opportunities and competition in order to meet strategic issues.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term business plans for specified products in order to achieve sales, profitability, and market share  targets.
  • Develop relevant products assortments (within area of responsibility) within international guidelines in order to increase customer satisfaction and maximize product profitability.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing (HQ) on assortment management in order to ensure best assortments/products/marketing offers for our market. Actively participate to Global projects and ensure communication and liaise with French Sales & Marketing organization. Provide regular feedback to H.Q. on French sales performance and market needs.
  • Monitor performance of designated products against plan (sales/benefits/market share) and initiate changes to the plan / strategy to ensure targets are met. Develop specific scorecards.
  • Develop Sales Support Materials - printed, digital and Training - in cooperation with the Comm print and Digital, internal and external stakeholders and Training partners to support sales efficiency.
  • On-going support to sales force Customers / internal stakeholders - answer questions, communicate to prevent / ease on going or future issues, etc…
  • Ensure trainings for new employees' onboarding for owned ranges of products.
  • Ensure that all communication about products or company is in line with internal guidelines & regulatory environment, especially with regards to product properties, claims and clinical information.
  • Coordinate new product launches in order to achieve agreed sales, profit, and market shares objectives using the company Launch Excellence process. Manage pre and post launch product user evaluations.
  • Cooperate with the sales force to create the most efficient customer messages and solutions. Liaise closely with the Learning & Development Manager and the local sales team to arrange appropriate product training.
  • In cooperation with the Learning & Development Manager, develop and secure competence within the sales organization in order that the sales force can sell the features, advantages, and benefits of the designated portfolio.
  • Monitor short and mid-term sales trends of designated products to provide a monthly forecast (MBM process) in line with the forecast accuracy and bias targets.

  • Develop & implement different marketing activities, defined in relation with the Marketing Manager for the development of the portfolio in order to ensure strategic targets achievement.
