Continuing to invest in our future, we are hiring a Controller, to be based in our French organisation. 

 

You will play a key, transversal role covering all four of our business areas, liaising closely with stakeholders in France to ensure budgeting and rolling forecasts are timely and accurate. You will also be the point of contact for our centralised finance function in Sweden, so you will need to be an exceptional communicator in English. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work as business partner and close with pricing to provide end to end analysis, operational P/L and operational working capital with focus on sales to gross profit 
  • To provide financial consulting and support to commercial team including review of business cases, business plans, recurring and ad hoc analysis. 
  • Participate in the Commercial Finance Network and encourage sharing of best practices environment.
  • Engage as appropriate in the business planning and budgeting / forecasting processes ensuring effective and cohesive communication 
  • Engage in the internal reporting process to give visibility of the financial results and cost drivers to be able to put in place actions where deviations are seen
  • Provide support, consultancy, advise, co-leadership and governance to act as holistic value integrator to the business.
  • Support financial part of the local MBM process (ASP management)
  • Manage accounts receivable as part of operational working capital 
  • Coordinate local demand planning and forecasting process including communicate and analyze results in order to fulfill accuracy target
  • Cooperate with key stakeholders in order to have qualitative and efficient controlling and financial procedures
  • Actively participate and contribute to the business development by preparing financial analysis.
  • Analyze and act on financial information so that corrective action is taken in order to meet financial objectives.
  • Perform P/L analysis and provide data to local management and to line manager 
  • Follow up of ASP including rebate and D&B for responsible Markets
  • Proactively report development and trends to highlight early warning signals on financial data.
  • Perform financial planning and do entries in planning tool (BPC) 
  • Work together with the Demand Planner in the demand review process coordinating MBM reporting process to ensure keeping deadlines and high qualitative comments.  
  • Communicate to commercial HQ leadership any risks or opportunities connected with sales deductibles.
  • Provide local Leadership Team and line manager with appropriate financial data

 

Profile:

  • Degree in a relevant subect, or a commensurate level of work experience
  • 6+ years' experience in industry and 3+ in a Business Controller type role 
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Lifesciences / Medical Devices experience would be advantageous
