Business Development Manager PPE / Hibi

Continuing to invest in our future, we are looking to hire a Product & Business Devlopment Manager for our protective equipement and antiseptic scrub (HiBi) portfolio. 
 
This is a key role for Mölnlycke in France as we continue to capitalise on our capability to provide vital safety products to healthcare professionals. 
 
You will act as the Product Manager for PPE and HiBi nationwide and accompany our OR Specialized sales team as they open doors to existing and new clients for these market leading products. 
 
You will also assume a sales role and develop new sales channels for these products, notably Dentist Surgeons, Veterinarians, and Clean Rooms. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • To develop and control the marketing strategy, targeted sales and local marketing plans and budget for the French market of defined products in accordance with the Marketing Director and in cooperation with the Acute Care (AC) Sales Director.
  • To support the AC Sales Director in the development of Business Plans
  • To develop short and long-term Marketing and Launch plans for the defined products, so as to identify share, volume and profit objectives and define strategies to meet them.
  • To develop the product assortment and services and increase customer satisfaction to achieve agreed upon budget/forecast.
  • To implement and maintain local pricing strategy within international guidelines to ensure profits in line with or above budget/forecast.
  • To develop and/or implement sales and marketing concepts, therapy approaches, arguments and sales support materials for the OR Specialized French sales organisation to support the business.
  • To secure competence within the sales organisation for defined products and sales concepts in order to improve their ability to achieve defined targets.
  • To identify long-term trends within the market place in order to communicate and transfer customer needs and market opportunities to the central marketing organization.
  • To study and understand the competitive environment in order to prevent or counter act competitors’ actions / activities.
  • To communicate local marketing and launch plans to ensure that the sales organisation knows what is coming and when.
  • To inform the Global Marketing of product related issues, customer needs and marketing opportunities to ensure that Mölnlycke France gets the products that are needed to satisfy the customers.
  • To ensure efficient usage of the local Advertising & Promotion budget to drive profitability and sales growth in the short, medium and long terms.
  • To develop alternative ways of commercialisation and new market segments – Veterinary, Dentists, clean room - for the defined products.
  • To provide regularly the supply chain and finance organization with an adapted forecasts (MBM) in order to maximize customer’s satisfaction.
  • To implement and continuously reinforce brand values within the organisation and to customers/third parties to ensure that they know what MHC stands for and what makes us unique vs. other brands on the market.
  • To develop and measure agreed KPIs and initiate corrective actions when KPls are not in line with budget / forecast and behavioural and performance expectations.
  • Cooperate with appropriate internal stakeholders to create the most efficient customer messages and solutions.
  • Liaise closely with the Learning & Development Manager and the local sales team to arrange appropriate product training.
  • In cooperation with the Communications Team to define targets, timings and propose contents for the product communication campaigns to be implemented.
  • To work closely with the Prof. Education and Medical teams to define targets, timings and co-develop contents foe the activities defined.
  • In cooperation with the Learning & Development Manager, develop and secure competence within the sales organization in order that the sales force can sell the features, advantages, and benefits of the designated portfolio.
  • To support Bids & Tenders team with the documents needed.

 
Profile:

  • Degree Educated
  • A dual experience in sales and marketing within Surgical Medical Devices 
  • Commercial acumen
  • English language skills
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide
