We are now looking for Senior Scientist to join our R&D team.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact in this roll.
- Lead and innovate in new materials, formulation, manufacturing technology in accordance with R&D vision and strategy.
- To drive early innovation exploration, fundamental research and practical feasibility, shaping the future of our products and processes with scientific approach.
- Provide leadership to the technical team to enhance the capabilities of the individuals and the collective team.
- Work closely with Product Development team to understand customer needs and identify target area of technology exploration.
- Formulate and test hypotheses to address specific scientific assignments, technical challenges and research problems.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for new products or processes.
Conduct necessary analyses to measure product performance and competitiveness, ensuring compliance with or surpassing industry standards.
- Utilize analytical skill / statistical tools to collect and process data. Evaluate, interpret, report, present research findings to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Conduct technical scouting for target technology exploration.
- Take the potential materials, processes, opportunities to next level of business gate review or further feasibility studies at production scale.
- Technical assessment for the readiness of a new product / process at different project phase or business gates
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical), or a related field. Master or higher degree cis preferred.
- At least 7 years’ experience as Scientist or equivalent level in Research and Development
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present technical data, findings and recommendations
- Strong knowledge in data analysis and innovative approach for new materials and manufacturing processes development
- Ability to develop and present new ideas, concepts, approaches and solutions.
- Experience in sustainability research initiatives can be beneficial.
- Problem solving / Analytical / Critical Thinking skills
- Product / Material / Latex compounding/ Dipping and Glove processing / Equipment knowledge
- Strong knowledge of new product development methodologies, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Familiarity with intellectual property (IP) filing processes.
- Knowledge in sustainability such as environmental science, understanding of current ecological challenges, life cycle analysis. Skills to lead sustainability initiatives and research work.
