We are now looking for Senior Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team.

Location : Molnlycke Health Care Sdn. Bhd - Kulim, Hi-Tech.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact in this role:

  • Develop weekly and monthly production plans aligned with demand forecasts, available capacity, and inventory targets.
  • Ensure balanced line loading considering machine capability, manpower, and resource availability.
  • Monitor actual output and proactively adjust schedules to address changes, disruptions, or urgent priorities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, Warehouse) to maintain smooth production flow.
  • Identify constraints or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to improve throughput.
  • Track daily output, cycle time, and product yield; ensure accurate data capture in planning systems.
  • Report production performance, analyze variances, and propose improvement actions.
  • Drive enhancements in scheduling accuracy, planning efficiency, and master data reliability.
  • Act as Key User for SAP (PP/MM modules) and Kinaxis Rapid Response, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and user training.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and digital planning transformation.
  • Review aging and odd-hand inventory, ensure timely rectification, and recommend disposition for unusable stocks.
  • Scheduling Priorities: Decide which production orders to prioritize based on demand, capacity, and delivery commitments.
  • Inventory Release: Approve production order releases based on material availability and lead times.
  • Disruption Management: Adjust schedules in response to machine breakdowns, quality issues, or supply delays.
  • Demand vs. Supply Trade-offs: Balance customer priorities when demand exceeds capacity, including partial fulfillment or rescheduling.
  • System Data Integrity: Validate and approve changes to master data (e.g., lead times, BOM updates) impacting planning accuracy.

What you’ll need:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in production planning and Capacity Planning.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, supply chain flow, and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (PP/MM or IBP) and Kinaxis Rapid Response preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and advanced planning tools; familiarity with ERP and APS systems.
  • Experience as a Key User or Process Expert, including system testing, data validation, and change management
  • Identify and implement process improvements or automation to streamline planning workflows.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives in supply chain planning.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive automation
