We are currently seeking a Business Controller to join our team at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. This role is responsible for providing business partnering support to manufacturing operations, including standard costing, variance analysis, project management, and CAPEX planning. The successful candidate will also play a critical role in SAP implementation and post-implementation support activities.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact in this role:
- Work closely with other Business Controllers in the SAP project, and together making sure to integrate the best solution into smart ways of working in SAP.
- Will be the master/key user of costing, variances and manufacturing finance processes after the SAP implementation
- Support product and process costing together with other Business controller
- To interact with varying levels of management, including collaboration with GBS team as appropriate, strong skills in business partnering, can challenge as well as support
- Support project management
- Support inventory management
- Support Finance Director on business and financial forecasting, providing costing and analytical information for decision making, on monthly financial management reporting and financial governance management
- Any ad-hoc requirement assigned by superior, including also support in statutory, tax & compliance reporting
- Support and sustain effective EHS Management System

Qualifications
- Minimum Professional qualification CIMA/CGMA/ACCA or degree or equivalent, with minimum 8 years working experience
Experience
- Well experienced in SAP for manufacturing. If worked during implementation of SAP from other ERP system will be an advantage
- An advantage with manufacturing standard costing knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Project management experience is an advantage
