As a Key Account Specialist, you would manage the North-East Thailand territory, ensuring coverage of key hospitals, wound care centres, and healthcare networks. You will also develop and execute account-specific business plans aligned with national sales strategy, focusing on strategic account management, distributor collaboration, and long-term business development with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and procurement groups.
The key Account Specialist is responsible for commercial outcomes, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships with appointed distributors.
Location: North-east region, Thailand
What you’ll do
- Achieve, exceed agreed sales targets by commercially managing existing customers and development of new accounts in assigned territory area and support distributor to find new opportunities resulting in grow the business according to national strategy.
- Secure existing business and develop new opportunities by value added selling of the Wound Care offering to commercial decision makers.
- Update and maintain the account plans according to the Thailand strategy. Ensure an efficient and effective way of working within the sales territory in order to maximise business opportunities.
- Providing training and technical support through product presentation and to end users to ensure proper use of wound care products as well as clinical updates to customers through clinical evidence.
- Educate key stakeholders within accounts of the Molnlycke Health Care product and value proposition in assigned territory and support distributor to enhance their knowledge.
- Identify and develop KOLs, in cooperation with the Sales Manager.
- Create and lead an academic event and marketing activities in assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide regular updates on market conditions.
- Share insights with management to refine strategy and product positioning
- Provide input and the preparation of the documents regarding the assortment and price proposal.
- Perform sales pricing in line with Thailand guidelines.
- Monitor and participate in tenders within territory.
- Proactively forecast changes in product usage to ensure accurate order completeness.
- Demonstrate effective use of all available sales tools and materials provided by MHC to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Other assigned by manager in term of job responsibility and responsible territory

What you’ll need
- Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience and leadership experience in pharmaceutical, nursing, clinical or medical device industry, with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience of selling to customers in public and private hospitals and health institutions.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Detail-oriented and numerate.
- Client-oriented with commercial mindset and able to provide solutions.
- Good attitude and aptitude to work in a team and being a leader in project.
- Possess a high level of accountability and job ownership.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organisational and selling skills.
- Diploma or Degree in Business administration or relevant discipline.
- Experience in key account management is advantageous.
- Prior background in nursing or wound care management with commercial understanding is advantageous.
