Application & Infrastructure Specialist

As an Application & Infrastructure Specialist (m/w/d), you would support relevant regional or local IT demands and solutions leveraging global solutions to drive value creation using digital technology and data.


Your responsibility

  • Responsibility for relevant applications & infrastructure within scope of the role including quality of IT deliveries & performance of solution.
  • Delivers quality configuration & development work relating to IT-systems in scope. This includes estimation, planning and management of configuration work, development work or other tasks reporting on progress.
  • Leads operation, support and maintenance efforts securing collaboration between all team members including cooperation with global teams to deliver on commitments.
  • Captures local input and demands and provides regular feedback to relevant global delivery team including decision support.
  • Proactively identifies improvement areas, including where and how to leverage global solutions, to drive both IT & process improvements.
  • Interacts with and constructively challenge users, customers & stakeholder to clarify needs & solution.
  • Contributes to development and implementation of the global IT strategy and digital technology innovation roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in relevant areas including business processes, technologies, applications and relevant data.




  • Min. 2 years of experience in IT (users support)
  • understanding of production processes
  • knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
  • communication (users, IT team, suppliers)

  • ability to find solutions and predict problems
  • teamwork and cooperation, patience
  • knowledge of English (B2)

Nice to have:

  • Experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes.
  • Experience from applying digital technology creating business effect relevant in area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to gain understanding of customers’ business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
