Mölnlycke is now looking for a Production Manager to Horsens Factory in Denmark. We are looking for a strong and inspiring leader who is willing to grow and succeed with our business, ready to contribute to the management team.

 

About the job:

The purpose of the position is an overall responsibility for the production with focus on people management while improving and develop the Production, always  to ensure the best possible products for our customer, striving towards zero accidents, delivery on time and with correct quality and quantity.

 

Your key responsibilities are:

In this position you’ll lead, motivate, and mentor a team of production lead operators and operators to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. You’ll foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement among the production staff.
 

You’ll develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets in alignment with company goals, analyze and follow up on daily basis and decide on actions ahead.
 

You’ll be planning Raw Material Management, developing manning schedules and plans in accordance with demand forecasts, projects, maintenance, and improvement tasks and also ensure daily raw material availability, including procuring, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers.
 

You’ll also secure and coordinate transportation logistics for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
 

You’ll be responsible for manufacturing excellence and drive initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, optimize resource utilization, and minimize waste including collaborated with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall efficiency.
 

You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality procedures in all production activities and maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation as per company policies and regulatory guidelines.

 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common objectives
  • Proficiency in analyzing production data and implementing performance improvement strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Fluent in danish and english in both verbal and in writing

About Horsens Factory

Horsens site, also known M&J Airlaid Products A/S, is 100% owned by Swedish Mölnlycke AB. We produce and develop absorbent Airlaid material, which is included in products used for advanced wound care products. Our high tech material is sold worldwide to companies within the medical industry. We employ around 20 individuals locally and together we are on a mission to free the patients for the burden of wounds.
