UX & UI Designer

We are looking for an experienced UX & UI Designer to accelerate the development, user experience, and scaling of next‑generation digital health solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and product teams to turn insights into real‑world impact, faster and smarter. Our aim is to establish a full new team of 10 dedicated colleagues, all committed to build a strong team and deliver the extraordinary in our aim to innovate and build the next generation digital health solutions. We believe we do this in close day-to-day collaboration in the headquarters of Mölnlycke, situated in GoCo, Mölndal/Gothenburg.
What you’ll do
As a UX & UI Designer in Digital Solutions you lead the design work end-to-end, from discovery to execution with support from peers in the UX Guild. As a strong collaborator and communicator, you will work together with the software development team helping them understand user needs and UX principles and turn them into usable solutions that creates impact. You’ll contribute to initiatives and day-to-day work through user centred research and design methodology and skills, in close collaboration with product owner, engineers, and other teams and stakeholders across the organisation.
Through your work the team will meet the users where they are and work to solve their problems in a coordinated and efficient way. You will facilitate an in-depth understanding of the end users’ needs and motivations, through insights, brainstorming, research, and workshops. Together with the team you will convert it into appealing, highly usable interfaces of digital products, e.g. mobile and web applications, to deliver an impactful user experience. You'll advocate for the users with a high level of craft and exceptional service design.
Other key responsibilities for the role:
- Develop visual prototypes, when appropriate, or other relevant tests with users and customers.
- Responsible for preparation and execution of testing with users securing user satisfaction and validation of business value.
- Contributes to development and implementation of the global IT strategy including digital vision, mission and digital technology innovation roadmap.
- Develop and maintain expertise in relevant areas including requirement management, prototyping, customer and user testing methods, best practice, and relevant technologies, applications, and data.
What you bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, interface design, user experience design, human computer interaction or equivalent education.
- 5+ years experience , so you understand all aspects of product architecture, interaction and visual design, and UX research.
- You have a strong technological understanding and can easily navigate limitations and possibilities to set direction for achievable and excellent user experiences for the short and long term.
- Proficiency and experience from working in Figma.
- When faced with uncertainty or complexity, you have a proven knack for innovation methods that help build empathy, clarity and simplicity.
- You seek to understand your user groups and build great tools to make their work and lives easier.
- You are a systems thinker and can build solutions that work as part of a larger ecosystem of tools. You can move nimbly between digital journeys and real-world, face-to-face customer experiences.
- You are a strong collaborator and communicator, who can inspire and work with not only design partners, but many other stakeholders from marketing to engineering.
- You have a people-focused design mentality. You are constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback, whether that’s hands-on user research or a quantitative A/B test.
- You have a portfolio (or work samples) of relevant past projects.
- High proficiency in English.
