Mölnlycke is now looking for a Manager Product Development to join our R&D Wound Care team out of our headquarters in Gothenburg

About the job

As the Manager Product Development you will lead, manage and coach a team of product developers to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in terms of resource utilization and cost management while securing delivery of agreed milestones in our new product development projects. You will be a member of the Wound Care R&D Extended LT team.
 

You will work close with your team and to succeed we are looking for a people person that likes to see other people develop. We’ll give you the challenges, skills and support to advance your career.
 

These will be your main key accountabilities

In this role you will lead a team of product developers, be responsible for resource allocation and guide your team members  in the development process, from idea generation through realization until a finished product or solution.  

You will lead and develop your team with focus on delivering expected outcomes in line with Mölnlycke values and principles, development of people with focus on talents, capabilities and organizational efficiency in terms of size, cost and capabilities, succession planning and talent in line with overall HR policies and procedures
 

Together with R&D Manager Product Development you will ensure the communication, implementation and execution of strategy and KPIs and business targets within the area.

What you’ll need…

- Proven leadership skills and minimum 3 years’ experience from leading Research and Development activities
- 3 years’ experience within medical device industry
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and regulatory environment with respect to medical devices and working in a QMS with Design Control
- Cross-functional and cross-cultural working skills
- Great communication skills
- Fluent in English written and spoken
