Where you’ll make a difference
Mölnlycke is now looking for a HQ Payroll & Benefits Lead to join our People Services team in Gothenburg. This is a key senior expert role where you will take full ownership of payroll, pensions, and benefits in Sweden. You’ll be the go-to authority in your field, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement—while strengthening the employee experience across the organisation.
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Owning end-to-end payroll delivery in Sweden, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert in payroll legislation, pensions (e.g. ITP1/ITP2), and benefits
- Managing complex payroll cases, audits, and regulatory inquiries
- Overseeing pension schemes, benefits structures, and bonus processes (STI/LTI)
- Supporting international assignments and relocations
- Partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless operations
- Driving process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement
- Acting as a senior escalation point and providing functional leadership within the team
You’ll join a collaborative People Services team while operating with a high level of ownership and autonomy as the senior expert in your field.

What you bring
Must-haves
- 7–10+ years of experience in Payroll & Benefits
- Strong expertise in Swedish payroll legislation, tax, pensions, and collective agreements
- Proven experience owning end-to-end payroll processes
- Experience working in international or HQ environments
- Ability to handle complex cases, audits, and stakeholder interactions
- Fluency in Swedish and English
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of HRM payroll system
- Experience from mid-sized international organisations
- Exposure to global HR collaboration and audit processes
- Familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors or ServiceNow
