Now we are looking for a Global Marketing Manager to be responsible for strategic planning and deployment of products/services/solutions within the Negative Pressure Wound Therapy category including development of product brand & portfolio strategy. In this role you will report directly to the Global Marketing Director for the Acute and Traumatic Wounds category.

 

The role is in HQ structures on Gothenburg but we are looking for candidates globally.

 

To be successful in this position you have a high degree of customer focus and a business-oriented mindset. You can make fast but high quality decisions based on a mix of analysis, experience and judgement. You need to have strong planning skills as this role involves contact with many functions both inside and outside headquarters. This includes working according to both commercial and cross-functional processes needed to maintain this portfolio. You are also a convincing presenter with strong communication skills and doesn’t fear acting on challenges.

 

Your key accountabilities

 

  • Lead and secure effective deployment of the product brand & portfolio strategy.
  • Lead the development of the category marketing plan for the product category & brand, securing line of sight & deployment.
  • Responsible for Category Sales and Gross profit development during the strategy period.
  • Lead and Manage the cross-functional category team to secure high performance and coordination. Secure cross functional alignment on strategic objectives and operational priorities within category to ensure business goals are aligned and met.
  • Responsible for the strategic planning and roadmap of the category product portfolio ensuring a differentiated premium customer solution
  • Strategic pricing of the brand & portfolio.
  • Global launch lead for major launches within the category securing that business case objectives are met by driving launch excellence.
  • Drive projects within own category from a commercial perspective in cooperation with relevant project managers and/or take business ownership in major projects related to category.
  • Lead development of and drive implementation of geographic expansion strategies for the portfolio in collaboration with regional/local organizations.
  • Responsible to ensure efficient life cycle management for defined products within category.

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Minimum university degree (and MBA or equivalent working experience)
  • Several experience in both sales & marketing within the Medical Device Business ( preferably in the area of  Negative Pressure Wound Therapy)
  • Experience from working in a global, international position.
  • Preferably lived and/or worked in a cross cultural environment in a regional or global role.
  • Fluent in English.

The role as a Global Marketing Manager is a full-time permanent position. The role will involve travel and periodically high work load especially during launch periods.
